We have this fire pit in the backyard. When we moved in it was piled high with brush.
We got up early Saturday morning and burned it.
First soak the ground around it.
(You are supposed to see how soaked the ground is, but I think the fancy stuff I did to the images killed it.)
Next, add lighter fluid.
Then light it on fire.
Add some more lighter fluid, just for good measure.
It's getting there.
Ah, now we're talking.
Having fire extinguishers handy is a good thing.
Look at how much it has burned down.
Not much left.
(I missed the part where it got sprayed down with water, making French toast was way more exciting.)
Keep an eye on it, a dog's eye helps too.
Gotta get that one branch.
Take a break while it cools.
(Don't we look like we should be sleeping still?)
Looks like it's all out.
Let's take a closer look.
Yep, it's out.
